Lexington Supper Club

The Lexington Supper Club is a monthly gathering of friends for informal, kid-friendly monthly potluck dinners. Events are held on the first Saturday of the month and hosted by various families within the group.


If you are hosting:
You are responsible for maintenance of this page until your month is over and for sending an initial announcement e-mail (as well as any reminder emails you want) to the group. The e-mail list is below.

If you are attending:
Sign up for a dish below. Your entry in this table means you'll be there. If your name isn't on the e-mail address list, add it. If you have problems updating this document, contact Sandra.

Theme Movie night. Theme: Silly Summer Vacation movies

We'll movie-style snackums. Movie selection is still up in the air. So far, the list of suggested movies is:

  • Meatballs
  • National Lampoon's Vacation
  • One Crazy Summer
  • Weekend at Bernies
  • Red Hot American Summer
  • Summer Rental (1980s classic starring John Candy)

Please log in and vote (or add additional suggestions to the list). We'll pick the top two.

Last movie night also featured some board game action so that's also a possibility.

(Be aware that some of the movies might contain content/language that is not necessarily child-appropriate)

Theme ideas for future nights:

  • By Sandra: I'd like to do a "bar" night -- salad bar, taco bar, sundae bar, mashed potato bar, etc... all tongs, all the time!
  • By (unknown): I think we need a Saturday morning breakfast theme (for dinner though)
  • By Sandra: I would love to see a fondue night!
  • By Kris: I 2nd the fondue night and add kid free card night combo
